There he was, the sleeping idiot. Why was it Leon's turn to wake him? Why was it ever his turn to wake the stupid bumpkin? Mary or Rutee seemed just fine doing it any other day but both of them had left him and Stahn behind while they ran to... obtain produce or some such thing, for breakfast. He supposed Mary being able to cook from scratch was helpful but they could have easily gone to the store after waking Stahn and had an extra set of arms.
Leon chooses to forget that they offered to let him come with them to help carry things home, but he'd spurned them for expecting him to do something befitting servitude. It wasn't as if Mary ever made anything sweet, so the food making process wasn't any of his concern. What was, however, was snoring away in the corner and leaving him unable to read important mail that had been delivered to the inn they were staying at that morning. He... supposed that he didn't have to wake Stahn up, but the blasted snoring made him cringe.
"Wake up."
He's... just kind of standing over the blond now, his hands fisted at his sides. He's lacking his jacket and his cape in the early morning, with only his tunic and leggings on at the moment, but he assumes he's sufficiently intimidating. He always woke to the beck and call of his superiors, after all. He didn't see a reason as to why Stahn wouldn't be the same.
It's time for the beast to awaken from his slumber, this creature though unmoving is also loud to warn his prey of his presence. We're sorry, Leon... it seems you have been picked to be the Stahn waker-uper today-- that's quite the task. He's rather dead.
He doesn't mean to ruin your day, Stahn really likes this kid. He's sour as all Hell but you know-- deep inside? He's kinda sweet, you just gotta pat his ass sometimes... Only when he's right, mind you. Too much pampering can rot someone from the inside-out and something tells Stahn, Leon might already be a little rotten. Nothing wrong with being rotten or anything... just makes you a little stuck-up. With the right friend (yours truly) maybe he'll freshen up a bit, show off that charming knight spirit!
Leon groaned, his teeth grit as he watched the blond sleep. Had his snoring gotten louder? Was it some kind of defense mechanism?! He wondered how Rutee (and, by accessory, Lilith) could manage to deal with him. Leon breathed out through his nose irritably and tried to think. It had been a long, long time since Leon had been child enough to get away with this sort of behavior. Even at sixteen, Leon is unsure if he ever slept in when he was-- ah, no. He had one memory he could draw off of, of him sleeping in after a long night and Marian being unable to wake him up.
What had she done, to finally get him out of bed? Mm. Leon sighed out, steeling himself and... reached to pull all of the worn soft bed sheets off of Stahn's sleeping form. Now, the blond had a habit of sleeping anywhere, but perhaps the suddenly temperature difference would help.
Fool, do you honestly think that's enough? You clearly haven't experienced anything quite like this before. "MMm... Just five more minutes, Lili-..." a yawn, hugging his pillow closely. Stahn curled his legs, wrapping his body around himself shaping into a ball. Whatever temperature change that might have affected him would soon be modified.
You were nothing, prepare for the knockout! To even consider yourself worthy of waking the unmovable beast, Stahn Aileron!
Honestly, Stahn will feel kinda bad once he's woken. Leon isn't used to his horrible sleeping patterns. It's always kinda sad subjecting someone new to them. Dymlos could relate, now that was a disappointment... Wonderful first impression are when you're woken in the middle of the night by the sound of your host's horrid snoring and once morning comes and unmoving body. This boy was apparently worthy of a Swordian?
Leon let out a soft, irritated noise as he wondered what to do. He had no idea how they woke Stahn up normally... he was usually awake and out of the inn long before any of the others. The one chance he gets to sleep a bit longer and he gets accosted by this hayseed's sleeping habits. How typical. For once though, Leon's at a loss for what to do. He looks back over at Chaltier still on his bed for a moment before shaking his head and... bringing his hand down on the side of Stahn's head, whacking him hard.
"I said wake up!"
He was... mocking him. Ignoring him. Hmph! Leon will hit him again if this continues.
"Owee ow-!" this pain... Stahn quickly bolts up, hands going to cover his skull in case of anymore cracks. What has he done to deserve this? Who would be this cruel? Tears lace the sides of his lids... "L-.. Leon?"
Yeah, that wasn't Lilith... JEEZ, hands rubbed against the damaged surface. "W-wha.. What time is it?" he holds off the pending yawn, moments of weakness are saved for when you're actually safe.
Leon crosses his arms, after dusting his hands off like Stahn had dirtied him. It's probably lost on someone just waking up, but Leon doesn't care. He just lets out a huff of breath.
"It's nearly ten. Those women have gone out already."
He turns on his heel and begins putting on his jacket, gathering up his letters to tuck into his pocket before sitting to pull on his boots. Stahn is awake, that was his duty, he doesn't care what happens to him now. He could go back to bed for all he cares. Leon straps Chaltier to his belt.
"... They said there would be breakfast soon. Don't miss it."

Pulling on his cape, Leon left the room.
